I did it
Ugh, I’ve been trying to write this all day! If you’re reading this, that means I finally found time to finish it! Yay for me!
OK, so you know how I have been wanting to dye my hair back to my original color because I’m super lazy and am tired of doing my roots every few weeks? Well I am. And apparently Jody was sick of hearing about it because on Friday he called me and let me know that he - without my knowledge or permission – made an appointment for me to get my hair dyed on Saturday.
From the minute he called me and told me about the appointment, I was scrambling to make an excuse to cancel. I just wasn’t ready! But by Saturday morning I had talked myself into it and…well, the results:

I’m OK with it – if it looked as light as it does in the pictures all the time, I would love it. But it doesn’t – in certain light it looks darker. Every once in a while I will catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and think that it looks bad, too dark, whatever, but I try to remember I did the same thing with the blond.
One thing I am not use to is seeing dark hair in my house. I was cleaning the kitchen last night and found a long dark brown hair on the counter and thought “Oh, gross! Whose hair is this!? Blech! What is this strange hair doing in my kitchen – how did it get here!?”
Then I remembered, oh…yeah…that’s mine.

That’s dark? I mean, I know you said it looks lighter in the picture, but my “dark brown” hair has NEVER looked that light. Though, I LIKE IT! I think it looks absolutly wonderful!

By ‘dark’ I mean it is darker than what I am use to. The blond would almost blend in on a countertop or on the floor – now I’m actually seeing hair everywhere.

I have seen it in person and I love it. Also, Frank really likes it too. I know you are just worried and thinking you don’t look good but it looks GREAT!!!!
