Chick with Sticks

Hi! Lindsey here. So, you want to know a little bit about me, eh?

I’m a 20-something graphic designer and I used to knit a lot (chick with sticks = me with knitting needles). I don’t knit as much anymore, but I’m kinda stuck with the username ‘chickwithsticks’.

I have a significant other, a guy I call Jody, who will appear frequently – or possibly infrequently – in my posts.

Jody and I have a four-legged daughter named Lilly, and we take lots of pictures of her. If you decide to visit my blog on a regular basis, you will be bombarded with way too many cute pictures of her. You have been warned.

Useless facts about me:

1. I drink hot water
2. I don’t like ice
3. I have dimples in my shoulders
4. I don’t like to view satellite images that show the ocean, or the edge of the earth
5. I’m a news junkie
6. I firmly believe there is a right and wrong way to hang toilet paper
7. I love the Simpsons
8. I’m going to win the lottery in four years
9. I’ve never watched an entire Star Wars movie
10. I once lived on top of a gas station
11. So did my mother, but not on the same one
12. I LOVE pineapple, especially if it is fresh and grilled
13. I wear flip-flops year-round
14. I like to read the Property Transfers in my local newspaper
15. I love the band ‘The Doors’
16. I once appeared in a Kroger newspaper ad
17. My dream is to own a craft shop one day
18. I love to sleep
19. If someone says the word “beautiful” or “neighborhood” I have to spell out the word in my head.
